I'm curious because when you get bit/stung by one in your own town you faint and return to the outside of your house, but obviously if you faint in someone else's town your house isn't there... Do you return to infront of the train station? Or do they not spawn at all if you aren't in your own town?
Is it possible to catch a tarantula/scorpion in someone else's town?

Sadly, you can't. If you could, it would be easier for me because I hate to Time Travel and I play mostly in the afternoon so I don't have a lot of time to catch a Tarantula or a Scorpion. Then I could go to someones town who time traveled and I could find one there xD.
But then I understand why they don't let you. You wouldn't be able to get bitten by them which would make them too easy to catch.
