Is it necessary to have all villager types?

I already have all the pwps unlocked and apart from repetitive speech is it really necessary to have all? Well here's my problem at the moment. I have all my dreamies of all villager types and well I really really like normals and peppys. I'm not so much of a fan of the uchi's. I mean, they're alright but I haven't really actually liked any particular villagers and they're only really good for bee stings.

but seriously, I'm fairly certain pwp requests are the only thing you "need" any specific villager type for. so beyond that, you could have an all-peppy town if you so desired

My town is mostly peppy, snooty and normal and it works perfectly for me because those are the only pwp I am interested in

Just for PWP but other than that no..

If you're looking for specific pwps then yes. I have had all the pwps I want suggested, so it doesn't matter anymore.

It adds diversity to have them all (different sleep patterns, etc etc).
But other than the fact that if you want all the PWPs, no, not at all.

After you unlock all the pwps, there's really no reason to have all the villager types. Canaan doesn't have any uchis, crankies, or jocks just because I don't have any dreamies from those personalities.

It depends on how you like to interact with your villagers, firstly I would unlock all the PWPs first (which you did), you have a choice on keeps Uchi villagers or not. So this really depends on your point of view.

It's not necessary anymore once you unlock all PWPs (congratulations!). The only other reason you might want other personalities is for dialogue diversity. But since you hate certain personalities, you probably wouldn't mind this! So just get the villagers you want!
