Is it just me or is Bob and Diana love declining

I love Bob (along with Punchy). I had him in WW and NL, and I'm planning to bring him in when I get someone's photo.
They are still popular. Marshal, Audie, Judy & Raymond threads just happened to spread like weed. One the new villagers get their amiibos, I bet the demand will die down eventually.

I just saw Bob get auctioned for 100k bells. but so what? Popularity doesn't dictate how lovable a character is. Ya'll let Tank slip through the cracks so i know i can't trust the collective lol.

I like both of them well enough, though I don't like Bob nearly as much as I used too when I first saw him. Diana has a really pleasant design and I'd totally have her in a town or island, but she has never fit into any of the themes I've come up with. As for Bob, I have had him as a resident of one of my New Leaf towns for years because I really liked his look back in the day, but as time went on I came to really dislike the Kiddie Series interior design of his house. I plan to replace him once he asks to move.

Had them both in NL and I love them. Diana is still probably the best looking snooty IMO along with Whitney and Bob is just OG lazy. They’re both very cool and I would love to see them again in NH. They just haven’t shown up yet for me in the islands. I tend to get bored of deer villagers though in general since their designs are very perfect, like they’re all proper good looking villagers and I’m a crackhead so I just have more love for the ugly cutes like Bob and Rudy and Merry and basically most cats and some other funny looking (but NOT ugly) villagers.

Ahem, now that that is out of my system, I never understood the appeal for Bob. But, I see way more love for him from streamers than I do from any other Animal Crossing villager out there. Even more than Marshal.
