Is it just me or do villagers ask for requests a lot more in NL than NH?

The favors are so infrequent, I can still count them. Aside from bug/fish requests and bartering...

• Asked to return something borrowed once.
• Played treasure hunt 3x.
• Found lost items 5x.

I always try to speak to them 4x consecutively because they tend to ask me something on the last one.

I've noticed that sometimes if I talk to a villager three times in a row, on the third time they will give me their request. But it only happens once a day, doesn't seem to work with any of the other villagers

yes, i noticed this too! although i was annoyed by it in NL (it felt like i was only doing fetch quests all day long...) i miss it in NH :< i'm truly a fake fan tm

I mostly miss playing hide and seek with my villagers. I've gotten one treasure hunt and the treasure was right beside me. I didn't even have to look for it. I hope they add it back.
