Is It Important to You to Keep a Perfect Town Rating?

I need Jacob's Ladders and even after that, I sort of want to keep it. Dream town items are fun, but I probably won't have them in my town, and there aren't any items I want to leave around for the aesthetic.

It is too bad mushrooms don't count as plants, though, otherwise I might use them.

Do mushrooms count against perfect town??
I have a bunch lying around but no complaints about trash, maybe i have enough flowers to counteract them.
I'll definitely have gifts and fruit baskets and things lying out for my DA, but I'll pick those up after I set the DA. I am planning on leaving the eggs and gyroids out though, as I just really like the way they look aesthetically, even if they count as trash

I was wondering this too! I have several mushrooms growning around tree stumps and I don't bother picking them because I like them there.

I never leave anything on the ground or anything like that, so I've never had to try to keep it. If it was harder to keep like in older games, I definitely wouldn't maintain it.

Miraculously i got a perfect rating before i even know that was a thing in animal crossing. But i feel its important.

No because if I like my town and it doesn't have the perfect town rating, why should I change it just for that?

I don't like leaving items on the ground (for a long time, that is). It irks me. If I see flowers that are placed in random places, I'd immediately dig them up, not that it's a problem for me now since my town has paths/flowers/clovers to cover things up. This is probably the reason why I never lose my perfect town.

I like to have a perfect town and try not to do anything to spoil it. I leave a lot of stuff lying around as I play but I go round and pick it all up before the end of the day.

I usually always maintain the perfect rating after achieving it. After I get the rating, I usually begin landscaping with starts and leave the trees as they are. I never leave anything on the ground that will mar my rating and I weed and garden regularly.

besides, i just made my town look so natural with flower paths rather than codes so i probably DO have it when im not lazy?? maybe

I enjoy knowing that I have my perfect town rating.... Of course I still have yet to achieve it with this town (had it on my old one)... Isabelle keeps saying I don't have enough greenery which is total bull!!! But anyway...

I only have stuff on my ground if I am in the process of moving flowers and re-doing areas... Like right now. I decided to do a complete upheaval of the area right in front of my train station (what I've been calling my town square).

It depends. If I run out of storage for things, I just leave them on the ground but I try my best to keep my town clean, not necessarily for the Perfect Town rating, but just because it looks nicer cx

Nope once I achieved it once and got the pwp and watering can. I don't mind losing it after that.

It isn?t important for me at all. If I like my town, that is what matters to me. I try to pick up all of my weeds, though.

Not really. In all the years I play New Leaf now, I only had two or three times a perfect town rating.
And I only care about it to get the golden watering can back then. Otherwise I don't care that much
about a perfect town rating, since I also don't need the golden watering can so urgent and it's not so
important for me at all to have the rating.

I don't think it's that important after you achieved getting the gold watering can, the flower clock, and get several Jacob's ladders.

It's not important to me, but I also don't recall ever not having perfect town status after the first couple of weeks.

I mean, why wouldn't your town be perfect? What are you people doing in there?!!

Perfect town is actually holding me back from fully landscaping my town, because since getting perfect town, I've not even chopped down one tree, because I don't want to lose the status. I have the pwps and golden can, I'm just waiting to get a lot of jacob's ladders before I start really landscaping.
