Is having a second copy worth it?

So, my brother doesn't play his copy anymore, so he's giving it to me...

Is it worth it to have a second town?

I find it's worth it. Especially when I get bored and want to start over, but don't want to lose my main town.

You could use it as a cycling town for dreamies too, if there's any you're still looking for - that's if you have more than one 3ds.

It really is worth it, I think~ for a cycle town, and if you feel like restarting but don't want to lose your town. ( I got a 2nd copy for this.. xD; )

Yeah, I'd say. I really want a second copy to have when I feel like restarting my town but I also don't want to lose my town at the same time.

lots of things you can do with a second town.
you can TT relentlessly for shop stuff, making hybrids, or cycling villagers
you can use it for badges, like weeding badge, or TT to different months for Fishing or Bug badge, visit & travel badges, ect.
Plus its great for storage. You can store things on the ground of a town easier than in a storage locker, and its like quadruple the space at the minimum. (just make sure to protect your storage area with PWP in case of movins)

I think it gives you something new to do if you're feeling a bit bored with your first town. I have three towns and just recently restarted the third one after cycling on it for a bit and it's kind of refreshing. At this point I would never restart my other two towns, so it was nice to get a new start and get back to enjoying the simplicity of the game for a while. I don't go fishing much or catch bugs on my other games, so it was fun to do that again. If it's a free copy I say go for it! I've had to buy all three of my copies.

Totally worth having a second...or third...town. But if you want to TT or experiment, DO NOT FALL FOR YOUR VILLAGERS. Because if you do, congratulations!! You have a for-realsies second town and you'll feel like you have to be a responsible magistrate. And stuff.

i enjoyed having a second town when i had one and i'm probably gonna do it again. back then it was a cycle/giveaway town but it's fun to make themed towns too.

I have 3 towns. Two of them I care about and make it look a certain way, and the other was actually my first town that I got lots of accomplishments and badges, but was REALLY unhappy with the layout and where I placed the cafe, police station, and camp site, so it's a cycling town now. c: I've been thinking about restarting it though to make a town without a theme as far as the villagers go. I just want a town with some of my favorite villagers and not feel like I should stick to a villager theme. (For example: my main town is mostly french villagers with the exception of Felicity and Teddy, while my second town is a winter town with exclusively winter animals.)
