Is Boondox really a scam?

Yes, it was the ONLY way to get the feathers, and in fact when Isabelle said that I'D be the one paying for the PWP's, I was like- Oh yeah, just like when I was funding Boondox! After 9 years, I finally got the last feather! It's basically the same premise as the PWP, YOU donate to it!

Except other villagers actually help you with PWPs.

I donated so much at one time that it only gave me the rainbow feather... hmph. I literally had so much money that I'd just donate it well after they became Boondopolis or whatever to make room for items.

I don't know. if tortemer acturly uses the money for boondox or himself. i only donate to get feathers.

Couldn't you donate in City Folk too, Idk I have not played in forever, I just know you could do at to the town and get a fountain, etc.
