Inviting villagers.

Is it possible for someone to invite a villager to their island after I scanned them into my campsite? I felt like I heard a bug was happening when this happened but I don't remember well.

You can only invite villagers from your own campsite into your island. The bug that you're talking about affecting Amiibo campsite villagers was fixed. However, now there's a bug where villagers you receive from other peoples' islands, whether it be directly inviting boxed villagers or getting them from their void, could end up coming to your island in a "I've Moved" plot. That is the house has a sign saying that they've moved, even though they were never on your island to begin with. You then must deal with that until they are cycled out - from what I read they will leave that lot once someone else has left and you've invited yet another villager in. Unfortunately that would make it at least a month before that glitched villager is gone.
