Has anyone successfully replaced the starting jock’s sleeping bag with a bed? If so how long did it take? I tried once and figured it wasn’t possible. Which 2x1 bed & color would you suggest to go with the natural antique furniture? Not really thrilled with how long that took but it would be worth not seeing that unsightly sleeping bag.

I feel like Genji had a cot not a sleeping bag, but I gave him a tatami bed and that’s the bed always on display in his house now

I moved all my starters out and then back in, except Flora. I just wasn't crazy about her default home.

I've changed up her house to make it fit her better. I actually kept the same items, but gave different colors - a pink loft bed and pastel wooden-block furniture. She won't change the stereo, but the others got swapped, so I'm okay with it. I also gave her a few accessory items to personalize it that she's displaying - a green dolly, a moss ball, and a candle warmer. My next target is the orange upright vacuum. I'm going to find a pink one and get that swapped if it kills me!

I find starter homes to be pretty special and so its hard for me to let the starters go.. cant let go of bob but on accident he was given the wrong moms cake and at all so now his house is really messed up and him in the starter house was one of the reasons why i was held back from resetting but now i just want to reset but dont because i just worked hard to get a lot of items and do stuff so sorry for ranting but yeah thats a connundrum..

Than we have pate and alice now left in starter houses.
Pate has my birthday and her regular house isnt like that much better and alices regular house has a t.v and i dont like that... just got rid of sheldon who was also starter but his regular mushroom house is awesome...

I gifted Julian a star clock and a Nova Light! My Julian is a permanent resident, so I'm not too worried about him being original (I recommend giving them in the blue variant to match his Crescent Moonchair).

I've done the same thing in Flora's case! Do you mind me asking if you've ever gotten her to put something, anything in the center of her house somehow? It's so bare-looking as a starter house it's driving me up the wall...!

In the center, no. I wish I could give her a rug, because there are some cute ones that would look great.

She replaced the biotope with a dolly, and the other things rotate on the existing furniture.

I wonder if a wooden-block table would work. I kind of wish she would use the customized stereo, but I'm not going to press my luck.

It was a lot easier in NL because of all the little tricks you could use. I've tried to do this is NH but haven't had much luck. I'm going to keep trying because I love redecorating their houses.

I have attempted to give her one! But it was customized, so she didn't put it out. I'll try a basic one and see what happens then... o:
