Intentionally Doing House Glitch

I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to intentionally do the house glitch where a villager moves in but keeps the exterior of the previous villager? I have some villagers I love but wish their house exterior fit with my island a bit more lol.

I think it is! Just TT two days when the plot is sold and skip the “move-in” day.

I’ve tted past a villager moving out and they still got the correct house exterior. I think this was patched?

No, I think that was the "I've moved out glitch"

I might test it own later on. I like Blaire, but her house not so much. If no one can confirm before, I’ll let you know later tonight!

Update: Unfortunately, it looks like it has been patched. I just did it and the house looks like what it’s supposed to be. I’ve done the glitch previously , but unfortunately this time around I had no luck.
