Which instruments do you play? I play trombone. In fact, I have a concert tonight. :)

...Since when is "Stringed" not a category? And piano is in no way percussion, it is a stringed instrument.

I've heard people call stringed instruments percussion because you're hitting the strings, causing them to vibrate. But I'll add that option.

Not really, you're not hitting the strings. Conversely, harp IS considered a percussive instrument because you often DO hit the strings. You're not physically "hitting" the strings on piano, though. I don't know, just doesn't feel right to call the guitar a percussive instrument. :P

Right on i play trombone to and im gunna start bass guitar
 
i play Guitar, and Alto Sax!

we had a spring concert for band a few hours ago at 7pm est. played teh Sax
