I definitely mishear lyrics every now and then, but it happens more with certain singers. On the bright side, when I do mishear a lyric, I'll usually see a decent amount of other people saying they misheard it in the same way. One example of this happening was with Down Bad by Taylor Swift. There's a line that says "For a moment I was heaven struck", but I and some other people misheard it as "For a moment I was having a stroke." Of course when I heard that I thought it seemed a bit strange, so it made sense that that wasn't what it actually said
Most of the time I don't, but that's because I don't tend to listen to the words themselves so I don't really hear anything I'm not an active listener so I have songs and tunes playing in the background without paying much attention to them.
sometimes! but i find myself always searching up lyrics to songs i'm listening to. i have apple music and sometimes the lyrics shows up when i'm listening but i think if the artist uploads them along with the song. sometimes it'll show up as a whole scrollable section of text and sometimes the lyrics move in time with the song like karaoke. it's a neat little feature that i really love!
yeah and it's pretty bad. i have an auditory processing disorder so if often hear things jumbled if there's more than one noise going on. the interesting thing is i don't have issues hearing noise, i often hear small sounds that other people ignore.
