Meh pretty good layout imo. The one I had on my second save sucked badly.

I had a similar issue with Genji as when he moved right where I wanted to put the lighthouse and a bench. Fortunately, I managed to work around it. Francine thankfully moved neatly right next to him and Lily moved in such a nice spot after those two and their paths connect flawlessly. These guys moved in before I knew about the plot reset trick so it could've been way worse.
Ofc I misjudged the day that Zucker was supposed to move into the campsite though and he moved right where I was going to put a path to connect the top and bottom portions of my map. I'm just going to have to deal with it lol.

Julian moved in a really strange spot. I had to not only rearrange my paths, but tear town my bench set up that I had there. I was counting on him moving into Poppy's old spot but NOPE, guess not. I ended up making it work, but even still. Kind of a hassle.

Bones plopped right into the small alleyway between the river and the cliff, destroying my forest, paths and flowers.

Apple moved right in front of the town hall, but since I like her so much, I don't really care.

I certainly understand your frustration. Ch?vre plopped her house in my Bamboo garden. Thing is, I was doing the reset trick. I made the mistake of using the TT'ing to 5:58 method, which I found out is quite flawed. :x
