Insect vs Bug models

Okay, I get that Flick is OBSESSED with bugs and he'd make the bug models much nicer but WHYYY did he have to do the fish models soo dirty?? They are so puny compared to the real fish and just disappointing. The bug models are gigantic.. Which is nice, but the least he could do is match the size of the fish. It would still show that he obviously loves bugs more and not fish, while still making the fish models cool.

Also, not really related, but I wish the bug models didn't have stands. I kinda wanted to place them around and have them look like actual bugs rather than just models. And I kinda wish the fish models were wall items? Like that marlin wall plaque thing. It looks awesome and much truer to size. And if they insisted on a stand for both models, at least make them more unique? Like maybe the fish could be on a stand that looked more like corals or weeds and the bug stands were flowers or rocks, etc. Would just look sooo much better in my opinion

I wanted to collect the models but was a little disappointed because of the stands. Wish they were glass/transparent.

And I agree about the fish. Was surprised that they weren't wall-mounted considering that fishes can already be placed in aquariums.

The stands are a little obvious, but I've seen so many beautiful displays that use them regardless. I use them outside too. They look really good on stools, like the stone stool. And you can position some items and flowers well to hide the stands.

I agree about the fish models, but I'm not really into the fish so it doesn't bother me AS much... have to say, seeing the tiny coelacanth outside my partner's museum was strange ^^'' I think your idea for putting environmental decorations (coral etc.) on the bases is REALLY cute.

I'd love it if he could make the aquariums fancier somehow! I love the pots for the goldfish, for example, and those could have different patterns.

definitely agree with you about the stands - i wish they didn’t have those as it’d make them look a lot more realistic and nicer imo - i’ve never commissioned him for a fish model but from what i’ve seen, the bug models are definitely a lot better ;;

Not going to lie I stopped trying for the fish models just for that reason /: they're so tiny!!! quick question though does this mean sharks are the same size too or are they their actual size?
