insane nook miles luck :O

I have been searching for Tom the cat, my most beloved animal crossing villager, who isn't very "popular" among most players. Yesterday I bought 7 tickets, and on my 7th island I saw Whitney, who is a top #1 tier villager. I felt compelled to invite her because I figured I could trade, sell, or give her away to someone who really wanted her since top tier villagers are hard to come by. Then today I bought 6 more tickets, and on my first island I saw STITCHES. I only had one more available plot, and I was really hoping for Tom, or at least one of my other dreamies (most of which are "unpopular"), but again I felt this urge to invite him. BUT in the end I thought, I am not a cycling town, and I do not want Stitches, and I already have Whitney to sell/trade/give away, so I left. Then on my third island I come across Judy. First of all, Judy is not one of my personal dreamies. But I know people search high and low for this cub, and she is super cute, so I decided to give her a try and invited her to my island. I still don't have Tom the cat, but now I have two tier 1 villagers. I'm somewhat satisfied, but still am hoping for Tom one day, yet kind of dread going out again to nook islands in case I see another top tier villager. The troubles of having "unpopular" dreamies I guess haha

Tom was the first villager I found on an island in a search for Audie (which luckily ended 6 tickets in; I got lucky!). He's so cute!! Sadly I didn't take him bc I wanted Audie so bad.

I hope you come across him soon!!

I believe Judy was my 4th find and Beau was the 5th. Invited both. Then I ran into Julian on about my 7th trip somehow. Took him as well...

First time I was that lucky in a game tbh.

oh i know how that feels lol. while island hopping for bonbon and/or tybalt (not very popular villagers), i kept coming across villagers like maple, goldie, judy (once, who i invited), rosie (once, also invited), chief, sherb (twice! didn't invite him though) and a few other more popular villagers. it's cool to find the popular ones, but they can't beat your dreamies - though they do make good for trading

yup, your dreamies are your dreamies, even if they are "bottom of the barrel" on the popularity list lol. and yeah I think the only top tier villager I am really interested in is Ankha, so I will definetly be using Whitney or Judy to trade for her!

Haha that's some luck! I'm still hunting for Raymond, sherb, fang and Marshall. I also passed by stitches, merengue and chief earlier. I was pretty tempted by chief but I'm holding out for fang. Then I encountered Ankha and the rest is history. Haha

I found Merengue, Sherb and Punchy on first tickets! I’m not sure I’ll keep them forever, since I like meeting new villagers, but they’re so nice to have right now. Especially next to Sterling and Truffles, who I hope will move really soon.
