Incline Indecision 😨

I am so indecisive. Can't decide whether the log staircase or white plank would be a better fit for my island. I like the natural feel
of the staircase but am leaning towards white accents in general Anyone else like this over what should be simple in game decisions?

yup for sure, I'm super indecisive haha. that's why I have 5 mill bells saved to try out different stairs and bridges. because I have a lot of extra bells, it takes the pressure off, and I don't feel as bad trying something out, and then immediately demolishing it to try something else, only to go back to my original decision

Yep! I know that feeling, but if I really don't like it, I can always demolish and put up a different one.

Ahahah glad i'm not the only one. Yesterday i finally decided to demolish something and then immediately changed my mind But it was too late ahahahah. Sloooowly will get the feel i want though

Kind of. I had that issue with the secret beach. I kind of wanted to do one of the steel ones, but felt it would not fit with the rest of my island so I went with the log staircase because of the almost piratey vibe I got from it. (And Redd technically pirating and forging art so...)

It honestly depends on what you want. The log would have a more natural "made from trees*" feel to it, but if you really are aiming for white accents then you should go with the white planks.

I'm so indecisive that usually I will get the kit, place it where I want, take a screenshot in the preview, go back to Nook, tell him I've changed my mind and get the other version, go take another screenshot, then stare at them for 10 minutes back and forth until I decide on one.
I may change my mind later though.

I don't particularly recommend being as neurotic as I am, but the screenshots sometimes help a little.

Yeah I can't ever design. Most of my island is the cobblestone or the arch stone path because I mainly use the stone incline. I like my island to have smooth transitions between areas but it's hard. I wish the bridges match the default path options better.

If you want a natural theme, you should go for more natural colours. In this case, it'd make sense to go with the brown log staircase or natural incline.

I demolished all of mine and replaced them with stone.
It's not that good, but less ugly than some of the others.

I’d say try the Log staircase first, it’s easier to blend in, imo the white staircase looks better on or by the beach.
