ANIMAL CROSSING WIKI

Punchy (ビンタ,, Binta?) is a lazy cat villager in the Animal Crossing series, appearing in all games to date, except for Animal Forest. He and Cheri are the only non-islander villagers to make their debut in Animal Forest +, rather than the original Animal Forest for the Nintendo 64. His name may come from the word "punchy," which means being groggy or dazed from a series of punches. His Japanese name, 'Binta', means "a slap in the face". His picture quote from Animal Crossing: Wild World also relates to his easygoing demeanor. Punchy was featured on the cover of Animal Crossing, in the upper right window with Mitzi, another cat villager.

Appearance

Punchy is a black and white cat with sleepy, yellow, purple-lidded eyes. His legs are black with white paws, as if he were wearing mittens. He has a set of whiskers on his cheeks, as well as a cat-like smile indicating his friendly, easygoing personality. Punchy has three initial shirts, The GC Shirt (Dōbutsu no Mori +), the Cherry Shirt (Animal Crossing and Dōbutsu no Mori e+), and the Gray Tartan Shirt (Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk).

Personality

Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.

As a lazy villager, Punchy will be easygoing and easy to befriend. Like all lazy villagers, he shares a love of food and relaxing. He will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies, such as fishing or bug catching, to relax or for food. He will usually get along well with other villagers, but may offend or confuse jock villagers because of their conflicting lifestyles. He will ask the player for fossils to add as decoration in his house.

House

In all games, Punchy's house has a laid-back theme. In Animal Crossing, he has a Gold Stereo, Mama Bear, Speed Bag and various items of the Blue Series. He has the Blue Carpet and Mod Wall. He will replace all of his normal furniture with fish, insects, and fossils if you give him enough, so don't enable him.

In Animal Crossing: City Folk, Punchy no longer has the Gold Stereo but still retains his Blue Series theme, although with less Blue items present and replaced with fruit items. The wallpaper and flooring are the same as they were in the previous games. K.K. Love Song plays in Punchy's house.

ANIMAL CROSSING WIKI

"... You're asking me why the sun won't set today?"

? Phil, Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Phil (ケイン,, Kein?) is a smug ostrich villager who made his first appearance in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. His Japanese name comes from the word cane, a long skinny pole, in reference to his neck. His initial phrase may be a reference to a bird's call.

Appearance

Phil is a predominately purple ostrich with a red mask. His wings and tail are brown and golden striped feathers. His beak is white in color and his legs are white and golden striped. His overall appearance seems to have some connection to a male pheasant, due to his brightly colored head and brown body. He initially wears a Dawn Shirt.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the smug personality. For more information, click here.
Phil has a smug personality. This means he will appear kind and gentlemanly when in conversation with the player. On numerous occasions, he will flirt with the player and admire them. Phil will occasionally talk about being into niche hobbies, like being a train fanatic or collecting plastic bottle caps. He will be very interested in fashion and will mention it often in conversations and letters.

House

Phil's house is very modernly themed and is somewhat feminine, with four pieces from the Minimalist Series, the table with the tea set on top, the minimalist table with a porcelain model, the dresser with the porcelain tea pot, and the vanity. He has Steep Hill playing on his High-End stereo and a House Plant. He has the Kitschy Wallpaper and the Round Carpet as his choice of flooring and wallpaper.

Trivia

Phil has a similar resemblance to Falco Lombardi from the Star Fox Series.

So, is Peaches still available? You had her in boxes on the 26th, but she's in your current list ...

ANIMAL CROSSING WIKI

"Hop to it, wee one!"

? Picture quote, Animal Crossing: Wild World
"I ate WAY too much, and now I feel SUPER full and totally lame. Tonight, it's coffee for dinner!"
? Dotty, Animal Crossing: City Folk
Dotty (マーサ,, Martha?) is a peppy rabbit villager in the Animal Crossing series. Her name relates to her large, circled eyes and area of her ears, though it could also be a reference to the word "dotty", meaning just a little bit crazy, as a reference to her personality.

Appearance

Dotty is a black and white Dutch Rabbit with tall ears that are turquoise inside and has a smile by default along with round eyes that go red when she is surprised or shocked. Her paws are white (known as "white socks") while her arms are black and her stomach and legs are nearly white, with grey marks on her legs. She initially wears a Blue Check Shirt when she first moves into town.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the peppy personality. For more information, click here.

As a peppy villager, she will always appear to be in a good mood. She will get along with other villagers including the player, making it easy to befriend her and gain her picture in Animal Crossing: Wild World. She will enjoy the usual hobbies, and may ask the player for bugs or fish that she finds cute. She will easily get upset, but due to a short attention span she will forget ever having the conversation. Like all peppy villagers, she dreams of becoming famous in the future and reads Ms. Nintendique, an unseen magazine read by all female villagers in Animal Crossing: Wild World. She also has an unseen friend called Moppina, which is popular with peppy and normal villagers. She will get on well with normal, lazy, jock and other peppy villagers, but may annoy snooty and cranky villagers with her upbeat and bouncy personality. She is a little bit gullible and often accuses you of using black magic to make your room bigger then starts screaming loudly.

House

In Animal Forest and Animal Forest +, Dotty's house has a mixture of furniture from the Construction Theme and the Space Theme, including Space Station and the Traffic Cone. There is one Gyroid, which is the Mini Spuntoid and a Tape Deck that plays K.K. Technopop. The Wallpaper is the Western Vista and the flooring Tropical Floor.

ANIMAL CROSSING WIKI

Mathilda (アザラク,, Azaraku?) is a snooty kangaroo villager in the Animal Crossing series. Her name relates to "Waltzing Matilda," a popular song in Australia, where kangaroos come from. Her initial catchphrase, "wee baby," refers to a joey, which is a reference to her joey, which she carries with her. Her Japanese name, Azaraku, is a combination of bruise (referring to the purple circles on her body) and raku, although is white, her fur color is the opposite of the color of raku.

Appearance

Mathilda is a dark gray kangaroo, with a joey in her pouch that mimics her emotions and appearance (like the other kangaroos). She has a charcoal gray body and the inside of her ears are purple. She has purple paws, white feet, a purple mouth, a gray ringed with white tail, and big yellow eyes with red pupils. She looks angry most of the time, same with her joey. Mathilda initially wears the U R Here shirt. She has a similar look to Grizzly, Hopper and Roscoe, due to her eyes and fur.

First meeting Mathilda in Animal Crossing
Personality

Below is a brief description of the snooty personality. For more information, click here.

Talking to Mathilda in Animal Crossing Wild World.
As a snooty villager, Mathilda will appear uptown, classy, and chic. She will seem mean at first, but if the player befriends her, she will appear to be more kind to the player. She typically does not get along well with lazy, peppy, jock or normal villagers. She gets along with cranky villagers, and other snooty villagers because she has a snooty personality. She may also offend some villagers. Mathilda really likes fossils, and will constantly ask for them. When you give her a fossil she will put it in her room.

House

Mathilda's house furniture includes Slot machines, the tartan rug, and more. Her house has many slot machines and she has one pool table. She has not changed her house style at all in any Animal Crossing series game. Mathilda usually likes new furniture in her house. If she gains a stereo it will play K.K. Dirge. She has the red tile floor and two shirts. They are the red check shirt and the check shirt, she also has a dart board. In Animal Crossing and Animal Crossing: New Leaf, she plays K.K. Ragtime.
