I would be so sad if that wasn't a thing in New Horizons! I love the friendship pictures. And I really love the idea of framed pictures too instead of posters, they just look a little nicer. Hopefully that's not the case!

i’m sure we’ll still have framed pictures for high friendship; the posters are just for when you scan a villager’s card, i don’t believe they’re replacing framed pics

Unless these posters have quotes on them, I highly doubt that villager photos are going away, why start now? On the other hand, I am definitely scanning my amiibo of my favorite villagers to get their poster
