Are any others with southern hemi islands just counting down the days until the snow goes away? It was magical when I first saw it. But now I’m tired of seeing white everywhere, and my flowers and decorations don’t go very well with it.

I'm northern and can't wait for the snow.. but I also know this is exactly how I'll feel a few weeks in to it 😅
I used to get reeeeeaaaallly sick of the snow in NL after the first month or so... so this is very relatable

I like it when its the end of February and you get to see the grayish brown grass, and I like the way it looks.

I feel like after a month or two of experiencing seasonal changes, I'm done and just want it to change to something new or something I had before. I'm excited for snow season in the NH but I think I'm going to get snow fatigue. It's so hard because you build your island in a particular season and suddenly it changes and nothing matched anymore! I'm not looking forward to changing everything!

I'm a North hemi island and I can't wait for fall because my island has ton of orange and brown it.

I've gotten so used to it, but it'll be nice since walking on snow is so loud. I'm tired of the snowboys, lol.

I do like seeing the aurora borealis in the sky.

Just curious, but how long does the snow last (weeks? months?)? I live in the Northern hemisphere so we don't have it yet but i'm excited for it, also since i live in a really warm climate we haven't even had snow in real life here in years so i least i can experience it in AC
Light flurries starting in the last week of november. snow sticks in early december and stays until february.

I’m SH on my new island and I’m kinda sad it’s going. My island idea probably works better in the other seasons, however.

Snow is actually very refreshing to see for me bc where I live we very rarely ever see it. I'd imagine its like that irl for places that snow, its very pretty and fun the first few weeks then becomes a chore to deal with. My favorite season is fall and love the look of the paler orange grass in this game but its only through Oct/Nov sadly.

ugh luckyyy.
i've seen snow on other people's islands and it looks so amazing.
i want it sooo bad.
⛄

I kept my switch on winter months for awhile... I loved having the snow.
but also got tired of having to warn people when they came to visit... and wanted to do some of the events so I'm playing on normal time now xD

I definitely can't wait to get snow in the NH, I think it will be a nice change from the spring and summer where there wasn't much change at all.

I'm pretty excited to eventually get snow on my island :) . I think it looks pretty magical in-game but I can see how that gets lost after months of seeing it.

I haven't had snow on my island yet but i've very briefly visited a few who have it. It looks pretty. But I understand how you feel, I always felt that way in past games after the snow was around for a while.
