I'm here to save the day! Villager moving tip

If you ever had a villager ping to move, then they say something like "We need to become better friends. I'm staying!" or "You're just going to brush me off that that? I need to stay and expand our friendship," then this is the thread for you.

Steps to make them move anyway:

1. Don't do anything important before they ping.
2. Walk over to them to trigger the ping.
3. If they decide to stay, then quit without saving, in other words quit through the home menu or the power button.
4. TT to the day they said they were going to move on.
5. They will be in boxes!

Easier explanation:

Quit without saving if they say no, then TT to the day they said they would move on.

Another way is to ignore the ping and Time Travel to the day they'll be in boxes.

Yeah, but you don't know if they are pinging about moving or something else, and you don't know what day they are moving on unless you talk to them.

Make sure you introduce yourself to them first C: then ignore them. Otherwise this trick works great
