I’m done hunting balloons for Sakura DIY

Not that I got any. I got one from Isabelle and one from a bottle. Even after days I never got any from balloons. Just money. And clay. And clothes.

Its one thing to be diligent and something is actually accomplish-able, but this is ridiculous. It seems completely random. I’m done.

Maybe next year it won’t coincide so hard with bunny day because that’s taken over everything.

It is completely random. All you can do is keep popping regular balloons and just hoping that you get one of the recipes. I've been getting them, but it is SLOW. It takes literal hours to find even 1 recipe.

It sounds like you've given up, but if you do want to try again - try standing on the beach on the right side of your island before 6pm, and on the left side of your island after 6pm. Every time it hits a 0 or a 5 in the minutes, run up and down your beach. Sometimes they don't seem to spawn when they're supposed to (or maybe it's just missed), but most of the time they do. It's just very boring and grindy and all you can do is be patient and hope you're lucky.

I managed to get all the recipes but it's a grind... on my island the balloons fly west to east during the day, and east to west at night.

Yeah, it is exceptionally slow. It took me 2 and a half days (yes, in hours) to get all of them through grinding. It's not impossible but I understand the frustration - all I can say is the running up/down beaches every 5 mins depending on your time of day is the only reasonable way to farm.

I actually haven’t gotten a single one. Part of me doesn’t even mind because I know I can get the items online from people. Yeah it sucks not being able to craft yourself, but... It is what it is I guess.

I have 4 plus the one Isabelle gives. I'm going to be trying in the coming days and really looking at my beaches. I luckily have the purse, which I wanted the most.

I finish all the Cherry Blossom DIY yesterday. I am hoping I get duplicate for those that need it. I have tons of duplicate Bunny DIY however.

Now I need to find out how many bamboo DIY there are.

Ok I’m not sure if its just me but I cannot hear the balloon sounds of normal balloons. The wind sounds for bunny balloons is loud but for normal ones, even if my camera is directly at the normal balloons location, there is little to no sound :/ I had to resort to using R a ton and checking shadows but I never trust a wind sound as its usually bunny balloons ;-;

I finished them.
I was kinda trying to get extras or new recipes but either I'm just on a bad rng streak or it feels like none will drop now.

I will say getting all the sakura ones took the span of 3 days time total just camping the beach for balloons so it was kind of slow. But still surprised I haven't gotten a single recipe via balloon since sakura or unrelated.
Also tried alternating to another character that has none of the recipes and no drops on them. Weird.

I also finally got the last few DIYs today. Got lucky with a lot of green balloons spawning today, so had many chances at DIYs.

Haven't had any luck during the night so far, but here's hoping I can finish up soon.

She should give it to you as soon as she runs out of announcements. At least, that was the case for me.

If there's anything in the set you want made for you, just lmk! I'll happily craft the furniture you want/need, as long as you could provide the crafting materials. I obtained all the recipes, but I have also poured over 175+ hours since the game came out so like... unrealistic for everyone !

Stand at a beach, fish and pop balloons. You WILL get them all if you are diligent. Keep in mind that balloons come from one direction for an extended period, and then may or may not shift to another side for an extended period. Use this to your advantage to be sure you'e popping every balloon that comes across.

How many DIYs are there for it? I've got about 10, including the wand. Isabelle give me the picnic set, and the rest came from balloons.

I'll have to check, but I may have an extra DIY recipe lying around I can give away

I have them all it's very grindy from my experience green and red balloons always drop the recipes others rarely

Never expected it to be this difficult/time consuming. But here we are. Such a nice furniture set so I don't want to miss out! I've got 6 recipes so far, gonna spend most of grinding to finish them off.
