I'm crying

So maybe a month ago, I lost Zucker due to being unable to play because of exams

Today, I lost Stitches The thing is, I was playing everyday and I'd talk to everyone 5 times and run around and make sure someone pings but Stitches never pinged me.

I've now lost the two most favorite villagers of mine I'm super sad and I don't even want to stare at my game anymore.

I know exactly how you feel. I lost Hamphrey the same way and I was devastated. He was one of my original starters on day one...but I got determined to cycle through 16 to get him back and I did! I know it's not the SAME Hamphrey I once had, but it is the same for me and I love him just the same

It sucks so much when you lose a special villager but at least you can cycle for them again. I hope you still care for your town and try to get them back! And if not, you can always start over and try to get them back in a new town! Good luck either way!

I was super upset when I lost beau. He was practically my best friend in acnl and when he moved unexpectedly I got really bummed. I have yet to find a good replacement for him though. I tried Erik and I just wasn't feeling it. So I'm attempting to get Diana back.

It was really rough for me to get Stitches
I was hunting so intensely. I was offering on many auctions and tried my luck with many adoption threads but I've never gotten it. One player was kind enough to end her adoption early because I posted all the previous links of me trying to get Stitches and she gave me him But I lost him and I feel awful about it and really sad since he's such a hard villager to get.

Sorry I had the same situation with Tipper.. I know shes not very popular, so it would have been much easier to get her back. but it bothered me all the same. Hope you dont give up on finding Stitches

I still haven't finished cycling for Zucker since the one person I want to move out never wants to move out so it's hard to get that one villager to move out while keeping the ones I like in my town

I'm sorry...I know how it feels. Exams, work, family, and then having to be active on something so minor in life like ACNL is hard. A lot of the times we have to focus more on the important things, and our little towns suffer. u_u I lost Blue Bear recently studying for 2 days straight for a physics exam, I was surprised she was gone when I opened up my game.
I wish there was some way where we could freeze our town, during busy times in our life, such as studying for exams, because it gets hard to play it everyday to not lose villagers we really like.

Villagers should not be able to move without telling us first. I'd make the game so much better. They removed Resetti for scaring kids, they could also prevent this from happening so that no hearts will break.

Its alright, I lost 2 of my dreamies before and no how it feels, it sucked when I lost the first two because they were the ones I tried to get for about 2 months, but I still managed, and got them back, but I haven't seen anyone with Peanut yet. Hopefully you'll be able to get them back! Good Luck!

i was super upset when i lost fang, i quit the game for quite some time after i attempted cycling (and i had to read so much up on it, since i never TT'd prior to). it did take some time, but i eventually picked up the game again, finished cycling and got him back in my town. it's rough but you can do it! best of luck.

aw im so sorry! thats honestly my biggest fear in acnl. dont worry though, there are tons of other villagers to pick from, and you can easily get him back with some hard work!

They really should make it easy to back up saves so this way we can restore them! I don't get why the makers of animal crossing/Nintendo are so set on no backups for a game likes this I have stitches in my old copy of my game, I don't know if you're resetting or doing the cycling but I would always be more than happy to cycle him out for you!

It's not dumb at all! Its only natural people will get attached to their favourite villagers.

I feel the same way about some of my animals. If I know I'm going to be busy and I can't stop play for a while, I have to reset to the last day I played and go through each day to make sure no one leaves. They should really have a thing for that. A 'going on vacation' option or something.

At least you have made this thread so people know about it. I'm sure some kind person has Stiches somewhere and will trade it to you

Aww, that's a shame! I lost Marshal in a Time Travel accident a while back, and it really upset me! I lost Chevre a few days due to inactivity-cycling 0/16! u.u

That actually would be a great idea. Talking to isabelle and letting her know you're going on vacation, so the next time you play she will acknowledge your back and it will be as you left it
