Excuse my ignorance, but I'm a tad confused here at the current popular "currency" option for trading villagers. If players are bidding well over 1000 NMT for a villager (which clearly is insane imho) then why aren't they just using them to find them on islands?
With well over 1000 NMT, I'd say you have a pretty good odds of getting the villager you want? Let alone modded switches that can allow that player to gain whatever villager they desire? Please correct me if I'm wrong here, but I truly do not understand how NMT are even a "currency" when said "currency" could be used to find the villager you desire? Especially when a dupe/glitch cheat is involved?
May someone explain to me please about this because frankly, I'm very much puzzled.
