I'm a bit confused

What is cycling, dreamies, and how exactly do you give away villagers? I've been reading threads and I'm quite confused.

Cycling is when you have a village and are going to be rapidly getting rid of villagers to either sell or giveaway

Dreamies are villagers whom you really want to put in your town, usually represented by signatures which appear after all your posts (see mine below)

and when a villager in your town goes into boxes (like when you visit them in their house they have no furniture just cardboard boxes everywhere) you have another mayor come into your town on that day, talk to the villager and tell the villager to move into their town. The next day in their town a plot will appear for the new villager

Alright, but how do you rapidly get rid of villagers? Isn't it random?

Usually a villager would want to move every 3 days after the tenth villager moves in, you would time travel to that day and walk around town looking for a villager to ping you (random). That villager will tell you she/he is moving withing 3 days. Dont quote me on this I'm not sure if my days are accurate

Cyclers usually refer to this method to cycle out 10-12 villagers per 5mins

(Now, as Sir Integtra pointed out, you can cycle out villagers really fast if you use this method,
but as a speed cycler, my average time is about 2.5 mins to cycle out one villager / per round,
so cycling out an entire village would take me at least 20 mins.)
