If you refuse to sell something to a villager when they talk to you...do you lose friendship points with them? I always carry multiple shirts with me for changes of clothing in my inventory, and a lot of the time especially when talking with Kody or Alfonso they'll want to buy a shirt off me. Problem is, I often refuse because (1) I like the shirt I'm carrying and don't feel like re-ordering it through the catalog only to get a piece of furniture in return I'll end up reselling for a small amount of bells and (2) I already like the shirt they're wearing (they're currently wearing custom designs hanging up in the Able Sisters' shop). Sometimes they ask me several times in a row and I deny them each time. Do you lose friendship points with them by refusing to sell them something from your inventory? The refusal options are often pretty harsh-sounding and they get all sad or "I see how it is" when I don't sell them it and it makes me feel bad. :[

I'm not sure if does or not, but I still get villager pics from villagers I've refused to sell to. I have to do it pretty often because they always ask for the ONE item I'm trying to take home. Try keeping your clothes in your closet or on mannequins, or if you really want to carry them with you, attach them to letters.

I would almost say yes it does, but it only depends on what they say as a reaction. If they sound disappointed, yeah, you lost friendship.

Hm, it would almost seem to make sense then, considering it's taken me a long time to get Alfonso's picture and I tend to deny him a lot when he wants one of my shirts, even though we're pretty close. He doesn't often want to come to my house either, and I never see him drop in on his own. I might have to start hiding my clothes then. <_<; Even though I already have so many letters with other important stuff attached.

I hope the next AC game expands our amount of storage...
