If you like Animal Crossing, try Tomodachi Life

Tomodachi Life is boring as heck. It's fun when your just starting out, seeing all the Mii's moving in and getting new shops and stuffs. Once you've unlocked all the shops, and done what you wanted to do. It's just the same thing repeating itself every day. My copy is just sitting in my tin of stuffs, I haven't touched it in a while.

it's will worth the price :)

no its not

I bought it and sold it a month and a bit later aha

i should do that already :/

i dont hav time to feed 75+ miis
i restarted a few days after getting it and soon again after.
ITS SO BORINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

What didn't you like about it? Just curious as I've not seen a bad comment about Fantasy Life yet unless it was regarding the multiplayer chat.

Edit: just realised you might have thought I was replying to the first part of badcrumbs post rather than the second part, I've bolded the bit I was responding to now to make it clearer. As I said on the first page I didn't enjoy Tomodachi life either, I found it too repetitive :p.

TL is basically MK8 TTing without the reward. Absolutely tedious without any goal in mind. What's the reward, some marriage thing or whatever? At least in ACNL people can see the effort you put into your town...

Its really not that great. People wanting something like Animal Crossing are better off getting Fantasy Life or Harvest Moon.

lol, i hate fantasy life xD please don't hate me

i have tomodachi life, and its really fun. and it's funny too. i agree with soundmotion :)

I liked TL when I stopped liking AC. Then I started hating TL.
So, yeah. I think they're both boring and repetitive.

Fantasy Life looks fun, I guess.

I don't have Fantasy Life, the first I heard of it was when an employee at Gamestop told me that Fantasy Life is a lot like Animal Crossing after I bought another copy. I then looked it up when I got in the car and I didn't see ANYTHING related to Animal Crossing, I decided not to get it.

Later on I saw an image of a post office that looks almost exactly like the post office from Animal Crossing! And maybe a pic of an interior house that belongs to you. I then took it back that it is like Animal Crossing the whole time, but still didn't plan on getting it.

Maybe I will I don't know.

Played it three time and quit. It's was boring and not worth the time. Watching a resident roll around on the floor isn't entertaining.

Honestly, Animal Crossing is more inter active. I mean yeahm I can create Mii people, but in AC you can do Catchphrases and Clothes, which is close enough. Plus AC has villagers, in TL you have to create people which some poeple (like me) are lazy. Plus TL seems like a lazier reskin of AC. I'm not saying I don't like it but honestly I'd play ac any other day of my life over TL.

Agreed!

I played it and it's not that good. I play Animal Crossing because not only can I hang with cute animals, but I can build an awesome village. You can't really do that in Tomodachi Life, I mean I like the aspect of making your own Mii islanders, but the game lacks charm and replay value, tbh. It's way too repetitive, and unlike Animal Crossing, there's no sense of getting stuff done and building progress.

It's a lot of fun at first, but it does get repetitive after a while. I think the more you put into it, the more you get out of it. If you enjoy making lots of Miis and writing funny song lyrics for them to sing at the concert hall, you're going to have a lot more fun with the game than someone who only adds a handful of Miis and then just goes through the motions. The more creative you are with it, the more enjoyable it'll be.

I keep hearing how amazing that game is but it never really got my attention. I'm toooo attached to ACNL

Would you believe that I've been playing TomoLife for 6 months, since the day it launched, and I have yet to write a single funny song for any of my 70+ miis in the game? Heh.

Writing funny songs is more trouble than amusement for me. But I am still playing the game every day. Because I'm totally attached to my miis. I love the fact that I don't have to micro-manage them. The miis live their own lives. They don't need me to tell them what to do. I just pop by to see how they're doing, hear what they have to say, solve a problem or two on the way out. I completed my Treasures and Food collections recently but these things aren't important to me. I just love my miis very much.

The game certainly isn't for everyone. (Then again, what game is?) It's definitely not for people who love to micro-manage. There are no levels to overcome, no house to expand, no bosses to fight, no online playing except to exchange items or miis. TomoLife is unreasonably quirky and random, the game practically plays itself, so all you need to do is love your miis to love the game. If that makes any sense at all.

Got it day one, it's repetitive as hell, but I love it.

Not to mention, I can actually take a break without some **** happening like a villager moving out or something.

That's one reason why Tomodachi Life is better than ACNL....I think...

It's great. It's basically Animal Crossing + The Sims - micromanagement of characters. You create an island which Mii characters from Mii Maker move onto, and you resolve their problems which gives you happiness which gives you money to buy things from the various shops to make your islanders happier which gets you your money back so you can buy more things for your islanders to make them happier which gets you your money back and so on and so forth.

New buildings and shops open once you meet certain requirements.

Your Miis can make (best) friends and get married eventually/to someone else.

Overall, it's just a really great game and you should try it.

I just proofread that and wow, it's actually a lot funner then I can describe it. Seriously, download the demo and try it out.

Tomodachi is a decent game, I got it for Christmas, overall ACNL is quite a bit better but I still like tomodachi life,

The name means friend life..

A Japanese person I know told me that, I never knew that before LOL
