If you leave items on the ground in your town…

If you leave items, like furniture, wallpaper and flooring on the ground in your town and a villager moves in, can the villager move in where the items are do you lose your items like you do with flowers?

They will plot on items on the ground, it doesn't stop them, but the items will be available for pick up in the police station if you have it. Same with stiff you leave around the town tree, if there's an event or a tent etc, the items got to the police station.

When you upgrade your home, eventually you have an option for a secret storage room. Get it, it's worth it. You can store way more than you regularly can in your drawers.

Another option for extra space it buying a room from Celeste in Blather's Museum, once you've remodeled it.

Abd third, you can store more items by putting items in a letter and saving it in the postal office.

Just remember what's in where and what order they're in. Maybe write it down on paper.

If there's other ways, I'd like to know, as I'm fairly new to ACNL, myself. :3
