If you have a pet, are they in ACNH?

i made my childhood dog as a villager once in NL! he was a black lab so i just gave him sleepy eyes and black hair. his house was my childhood bedroom cuz his favorite place to sleep was on my bed (and i slept on his dog bed lmao).

i'd love to see some more breed variation on the dog villagers. i have goldie in my town at the moment but my yellow labs were definitely more sassy so the personality doesn't fit.

I am not allowed to have pets unless they are birds, turtles or fishes which is whatever. I love cats and i want to have one in game since i cant have one in real life. I want to get either Mitzi or Raymond, but all cat breeds look cute to me, really!

I have three cats, a dark calico, an orange tabby and a tuxedo.
The closest I could get would be Purrl, who is a light calico and Tabby could be similar to my orange tabby, but she doesn't remind me of him!

I wish my dog had an animal crossing counter-part! The closest is Shep, but he really isn't a Black Yorkie.

I had a collie from when I was 5 to when I was 19. She isn't in my NH town, but that's part of why I adopted Vivian in New Leaf. Her long nose reminds me of my dog.

I have a miniature pinscher, and I'd say Butch looks the most like her since their coloring is similar. For former pets, I had a siamese cat, and I think Olivia is probably the most similar. Mitzi's pattern is actually a bit more similar, but not so much the coloring. I then had a gray dog as well. He was a mutt with gray fur, and none of the dog villagers are super close to his appearance, but I'd say Daisy is probably the closest.

Yes! Kitty is the name of my irl cat and they have similar brown/white coloration so I automatically associate the two with each other

I've got a cream/lightest orange colored turkish cat but there aren't any long haired or fluffy tailed cats on animal crossing so I haven't seen a villager like him. which works because I've already got a nicely balanced group of 10 villagers so I don't have room for another

I have two cats, Cookie and Pepper, who both look like brown tabbies. Lolly's probably the best fit for what they look like, but it's not super close. Lolly looks more like my grandmother's cat Dakota, and her other cat Guinevere genuinely doesn't have a match, being a dark tortie / Maine Coon mix with black fur and caramel markings.
