I'd bring nothing, because the only way I'd reset is if my file corrupted, and I wouldn't be able to bring anything.
First time I reset I only took a few things, like villager pics and my tools and stuff and ended up regretting leaving a lot of stuff behind. Second time I reset I took everything, along with some reorderable things that were harder to get. If I ever reset again I'd find some sort of middle ground, because when I took everything I ran out of room to keep it all and ended up having to sell off a lot of it anyway.

Nothing. Usually when I reset, I want a fresh start.

I'll bring Bam, Marshal, Coco, Fang with me. They are my main four priorities. And the reason being, Bam & Fang was my starter and if I ever reset, I'll make sure to get someone to hold them as they hold special meaning to me. Simply getting a new "Bam" and a new "Fang" won't be the same. Same goes with Coco and Marshal :~)
For the others, i'll give them away as I wouldn't want to make people hold all 10 of my villagers. And I know most of my villagers are tier 1's so i'd rather give them away than keep them all for myself and make people hold them then transfer them to my new town. ^~^
I'll also bring all my bells I genuinely worked so hard in getting (hours of bug hunting and turnips), all of my hybrids (because I invested so much money AND time into getting them, no lie), my 7-11 set + rare unorderables, and that's it! :~)

Probably next to nothing! Like Bear_Crossing, I'd want it to be a fresh start.
