If the characters from the cartoons were real, fanboys and pedos/perverts would kidnap the female protagonists and abuse them.

If we had legendaries, people would whore over catching em and epically fail. Because everyone totally relies on Legendary Pokemon for every battle they participate in. Fack bro, use the pokemon you've spent tons of hard work and time on. Plus you're not supposed to catch legendaries in the cartoon, so it would be the same law for pokemon irl.

It will take time and patience to form a bond between your Pokemon. Remember how Ash and Pikachu never got along in 1st Generation Episode 1? Raising and Training Pokemon isn't super happy fun time. it's serious business. I'm sure everyone would do a decent job if Pokemon were real.</div>
Pros:
The only positive thing I can find out of Pokemon being real is....Adventure and a free life. Explore with your friends, battle many fearsome foes in your quest to become the best of the best, whether your road is becoming a Pokemon Master, Top Coordinator, Pokemon Breeder, Pokemon Ranger, etc. etc. You don't have to go to school in the Pokemon World, maybe a little bit of Trainer's School but that only lasts a few months. You still don't need that school cause you've played tons of Pokemon Games, you would only go there if you're feeling generous and willing to help the newbies. Other than that, a Pokemon World would be Excellent.
