If i had to choose it would have to be more design slots/shareable player-made designs with villagers or writing to ex-villagers just to know what they're up to.
I wish I could write to Isabelle. She was so sweet to send me a chocolate cake on Valentine's Day. I want to send her gifts on her birthday, Toy Day and Valentine's Day.

I agree with having to pick where you want villagers to move in!
AND I wish getting other designs in the store slots would be easier. I am not very good at making them myself and I am really tired of my villagers wearing the damn green shirt with the duck.
also it would be quite cool if villagers could do the same things the humans can do in-game, like catching butterflies or catching fish, not just walking around with tools for no reason...
of course not as much as not to overwhelm the player but man give them a chance they have been trying so hard... ;o;
A pickax so we can destroy rocks.
More QR slots. MORE.
A way to see where your villagers are on your map.
Wider beaches.
Dedicated plot spaces for villagers.
Easier pwp and furniture placement (like in HHD)
This is probably a weird one, but I'd like to see a feature where you can create your own holiday of sorts. You can choose whichever day you want to celebrate it and it could be about anything that's true to the Animal Crossing series, like a gardening day or a day dedicated to a certain shop on Main Street. The closest we've gotten to a feature like this is your birthday.
That, and writing to your mom. I just always feel so guilty that I can't reply to all of her letters she has sent to me, haha.
I had this idea last week. They have nets for bugs, poles for fishing, they should have binoculars for bird watching.... or some kind of humane way to catch them and put them in the museum.
Well I wish you could have more then 10 villagers in your town. Sometimes I can't find any of my villagers in town, I find that very annoying running around like a dummy.
Also it would be great if at a certain point when you've built up your town for a new section in town to open. Maybe one that you can get to by train (make more us out of the train) or an opening at the edge of town. In the new section you would be able to build up that part of town and add new villagers up to 10. I think this would help with so many people getting bored with the game and resetting their town to do it all over again. There would be a hotel where every day you would have your chose of 4 different animals to invite to move in or just hang out with them and play games. Of course different environments would be a really cool addition like the desert, swamp lands, a beach community or the mountains. I doubt they will ever do this but a girl can dream
I am gonna jump in again and I'm probably not gonna have a lot of support for this, it would be great if we can have sort of a relationship system but nothing too advanced kinda like in the "crush" stage, and if Nintendo willing (most likely not) maybe bump the rating up a grade. Y'know E +10 is great and all but tweak the game a little bit more.
not having fruits disappear when they dont have a place to land. Also a path-laying tool? Like instead of having to do it square by square you can just enable it and have it lay down wherever you run that would be cool
but i guess that there's also some purpose in having to go everywhere by foot and in doing things bit by bit.
