They most definitely can move if you TT backwards. I don't know why there are people who keep saying that you can't lose villagers in a TT leap backwards when there are plenty of us here who have done it and can attest we've lost villagers.
There are smart ways of going about it, but there's always a risk. If you'll really be crushed if your favorite villager leaves, then don't do it.
OK i am a Time Travel Junkie infoist heres my 2 cents . If all is well on Aug 9th in your town you can TT to Aug 12th safely
with no isshues apon getting to Aug 12th you townie will say he or She is leaveing as of the 10th of Aug . So Said move start date is 10th in our thing here you from that point have 4 days 4th day being the pack day at that point it's to late.
If the animal is already planning on moving, yes.
Otherwise, no.
I went back from January 2014 to December 2012. No one moved or even acted like I had been gone forever. I've gone back several months after going forward several months to check stores.
If you plan on doing this, go ahead and try to get a villager's "!" to pop up and tell them not to move.
That way you can go as far back as you like with no consequence. Like someone above said, it only counts as one day to go back.
Ah, ok. I'm gonna TT then. If I lose anybody, I'm resetting soon, so I guess it doesn't really matter. Victoria and Butch are pretty easy to find on resets, so I can just get them again in case I lose them. (Giving them both to other people.)
