Today I learned that if you find the money mystery island with complete empty wallet. That the total amount of bells you get from there is 86,500 (or 86,600 if you also it the rock in the way instead of destroying it first)

You get 8000 bells from the rock blocking the center of the island if you destroy it the first time you hit it. So you can actually get 88500 bells if you do it correctly (the rocks in the middle produce 80500 bells, not 86500).

I actually didn't know that. Now I feel dumb... But thank you for correcting me! And the next time I ever find another money island, I'll try to remember to break it, in order to get the extra 8000 bells! c: *bows* arigato!
