So I thought of an idea for what to do with my second town when I ever stop cycling! It could be a town themed after the 4 seasons, Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. The town will have areas that will represent a different season.
So here are some villagers that could go in each area(I'm not sure about many PWPs though...)
Spring: Villagers: Fauna,
PWPs:???
Summer: Villagers: Flora,
PWPs:???
Autumn: Villagers: I have no idea...
PWPs:???
Winter: Villagers: Erik, Flurry, Fang
PWPs: Illuminated Trees,
I would need at least 2 villagers for each season(2 will have 3 villagers) and a couple PWPs. I haven't seen anyone doing this before but someone might be, not sure though. Please share your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions please!

Cool idea! :D

Spring: Flower Arch, Fence
Summer: Wisteria Trellis, Fire Pit, Picnic Blanket (or in Spring)
Autumn: Scarecrow, Windmill
Winter: Statue Fountain (you could use it in any season I guess, but the aged look of it makes me think it looks wintery)

I'd also put flowers of certain colors together. Pinks in Spring, Purples in Summer (look good with Wisteria Trellis), Oranges in Autumn, Blues in Winter.

Also, use patterns! You could make a newly planted vegetable garden for the spring area (and lay them in the Fence) and full-grown pumpkins to put around the Scarecrow for Autumn (I saw a pic where someone did that in their town, but I don't know where it is now).

Summer villagers: Phoebe. She's a Phoenix, which is associated to fire. The sun is a giant ball of fire. The sun shines bright in the summer.

Also an alligator and/or hippo for summer, because the spend a lot of time in water, like a pool in summer

For another summer villager it can be soleil since her name is french for sun,or skye. And for summer PWP projects maybe you could have a pyramid, solar panels, drinking fountain.

Ooh, I don't know if you're into laying paths, but you could make a path of maybe two tiles that you could alternate (if you make corners and edges and what-not it would take up all your pattern slots), and then tweak it for each season. Spring could have some flowers petals (or Sakura leaves) scattered on it, Summer could have... I-don't-know-what, Autumn could have scattered leaves, and Winter of course could have snow! It would look really cool to use the same base all throughout, I think. :D
