So I've built the wisteria trellis in my town.

Any creative ideas how to use it/ decorate around it?:)

I have tried to use this, yet it just never looks right, and the amount of damage it does to the ground makes it ugly.

In one town I have the caf? right up by the railway tracks (just one space forward from them, which is the closest Isabelle allows) and its a longish one tile wide pathway up to the caf? from the main path - hence I've put the trellis along this path - with flowers that match (white purple, pinks maybe).

The path under the trellis (& the flower arch) can only be one tile wide so I've found them both hard to use as most of my paths are 2 tiles wide. Plus you can only use it on vertical paths, sadly you can't twist the trellis/flower arch round for it to cover a horizontal path.

In another town I've used two flower arches on the approach to the Mayors house, as again its a vertical one tile path.
But in some towns I haven't got the right location/narrow path for them & I haven't used.

You can try putting some flowers around it! Try to stick with two specific colors of flowers, like purple and black. My favorite color combinations are blue/orange, blue/black, purple/black, black/white, and blue/white. You can then rotate the colors. For example, put one purple flower, one black flower, one purple flower, one black flower, and so on. For the type of flower, pretty much any type would work! My favorite to work with are roses and tulips! Tulips are my favorite, though! Definitely try for a color combination of flowers. Good luck!

I think it looks best with a lot of bushes around it. Trees and other tall objects tend to move focus away from the project, while bushes go well with it and don't compete for attention.

That's not to say you can't put trees around it. This is just how I like to decorate.

I put mine leading up to Brewster's, the Town Hall or the Retail. I find when it's leading somewhere specific, it just makes much better sense. If you have it out in the middle of nowhere, it seems a bit out of place.

I have mine over one of my major pathways near one of my bridges. (I have the Wooden bridge now though.) I planted a tree on each side of it and have flowers along my path so they're around the trellis as well. This was taken near Bunny Day so it's a little bit of an older pic.
