ok, so i've been working on a side character's room for a while, right?

onnnnly to find out that a lot of the items were more japan-esque rather than korean. (Hinaningyo, lucky cats, tatami/shoji screens, general's stool/fan.) the only thing i know i got right are the food DLCs and a few others (bureom, songpyeon, yut board, hibiscus clock because that's the national flower.. even a little area of pots/jars and pepper jar for kimchi making, yknow??)

i know if i had a Hibiscus plant it would help, but i dont know what to do with my room now. im looking for golden screen and thinking about putting down either a planked wooden floor of some kind or the planked tatami and saving my saharah tatami for my actual japanese room.

any thoughts/suggestions?

(btw, not a koreaboo/weeaboo thread. genuinely interested in South korean and Japanese cultures (: )

You could try using the minimalist set and customizing it to match with whatever you're going for! In my opinion, it works with anything. Customizing is optional though. When I think of Korea sometimes I think of white furniture. I have no idea why haha.

i always picture very modern architecture, clean style/interior design. with japan, i imagine more cluttered/traditional stuff. thing is, im missing a lot of the minimalist set. like most. lol.

There is a dream address that shows Korea and Japan I think... Gotta look up the address though

i have a fan up already :D can i ask why you suggested this? ^^

In S. Korea there's an urban legend that you can die from sleeping in a closed room with a fan turned on. XD

There is a item Isabelle gives out in the Korean game. It's a yutnori. Given out on seollal, but I'm pretty sure you might have it.

i was unable to find the code, but I found a vid that might be helpful. It's on the YouTube aplication so I can't put a link. It's called animal crossing new leaf Korean events and items. Vid owner is mikayla ACNL. I hope this helps. You can always visit Japanese or Korean towns you know :3
