Ideas for a pet store?

I'm trying to make a pet store-themed room/home for my second human character. I know, I know. The award for most original idea ever goes to me, right? Lol, it's overdone a bit, I'll admit that. But I thought it would be cute since I based the character off my rescue cat that I've had since I was 6. She'll have a little bedroom upstairs (like she lives above the shop) while the main room will be the "store" area. She's a gardener and business-cat now, lol.

So far, I've gathered up a bunch of goldfish, tropical fish that are commonly sold as pets, princess cage, bird cage, bird feeder/house, doghouse, hamster cage, several cat towers, and the store counter from the 7-11 set. I found the QRs for cushions that look like kittens are sleeping on 'em and for "feed" bags. I'm still using the paw print wallpaper in my home and it fits great; I'm using the minimalist set (well, the tables at least) and I'm using the different flower bags and medicine pouches to represent animal food. I need to catch a few bugs, like the tarantula and scorpion, to add to possible "pets." A hermit crab would be lovely too. I've picked up a few seashells (for hermit crabs and fish tanks) and coral (for fish tanks).

I'm not sure what else to add. :/ It seems like a lot, but my room looks really empty.
I'm open to any and all suggestions.

It is! I forgot to add it in my post, but I also just picked that up as well. It's one of my favorite items for some reason. I wish they offered other small animals as well, but I guess it would be weird to have say, a pet rabbit in your home and then Francine or Coco walking around your town at the same time.

If you can get ahold of them, some Zodiac Snake figures might be useful for adding a reptile section.

They might be h2f, though. I'm not sure.

Yeah some of the zodiac items would be cute too. And the cricket cage :3 Maybe you can try and fit that ducky pool in there (I forgot what it's called)

Maybe their can be one room for animal 'fashion'. Such as maybe a mannequin with the cat outfit and whatever else I can think of! Goldfish paper, the bear cap, I'm sure that would work.

Magazine Rack (Petco and Petsmart have them!), cushions for dog/cat beds (customized with cool dog/cat themed patterns), a glass museum case with a gaudy lizard in it!!!

Overdone? I've never seen one! How about the paper bag lost item? It's got a little animal on it that kinda looks like a hamster. Could be pet food? You've got so many cool ideas proposed to you already. Love the cushion idea.

I made one in my museum.I put a couple of zodiac rabbits enclosed with the western fence.The ant farm looks cute.I used the paper tiger next to the cat tower.I put the zodiac monkey on the check out counter next to the register.He's the shops pet.lol.I hung the raccoon clock on the wall.It looks kinda cute.I also put a zodiac dog next to the dog house.

Also, I have never seen a pet shop, other than my own.I love visiting dream towns, and would love to see yours when finished.

I was thinking of using those too! But I didn't know how and totally forgot about the snake! Thank you for reminding me; that's a great idea! I guess I could also use the dog, rabbit, and monkey ones as well? I was considering using the snow bunny as a bunny too.

I have a few cushions that I already customized with sleeping cats, but I didn't know if they would look silly so I just haven't displayed them yet. But your ideas are great. I need to find dog QRs. The cat pillows and codes have been saved in my Able's for ages; I can't ind any really good dog codes. Never gave much thought to that before though.

The lizard idea is so awesome. Never would've thought of it. And I just bought a display case today too.

Really...? I thought it was done a lot, like bakeries? I had no idea, lol. The paper bag lost item would be perfect; are those cheap to buy on here? It does kind of look like a little hamster, ha! I'm using the flower bags, medicine, and fertilizer as different animal products so far and the bear bag would help a lot.

How cute! Would you mind if I borrowed a few of those ideas? I really like the idea of the shop having a pet that sits around the counter. I can finally put these zodiac animals to to use!

I have bird cages, but I didn't think to have pictures of dog/cat villagers. I had my cat villagers' pics in there but I thought it looked weird, lol. Like I was selling them. But I guess it could be like, successful adoptions.
