Idea for an AC crossover...

This idea has probably been thrown around before, but I would LOVE to see a Pokemon and Animal Crossing crossover! You could have Pokemon as your villagers instead of animals and they could dress up in clothes and look all cute. And the fruit on the trees would be replaced with berries from the games and there would be Pokemon themed furniture and clothing!

Would you guys play something like this?

I'm not big with Pokemon games, but I do like Pokemon. Specifically Charizard, which is why I'm so happy he's solo in the next Smash game! If someone were able to hack the game and somehow put in 3D Pokemon instead with the AC charm behind it, I surely would not be against the idea. Personally, I'd like an Animal Crossing game where you get to play as an animal and the villagers are humans. xD

But in my opinion, I would not ever. I think it's a bad idea. Having pokemon as villagers would be cool, but I feel that they should be in their respective games. I don't see how this would work out.

Well, they have done a pokemon crossover with nobunaga's ambition and it was really successful, so I don't see why it wouldn't work here.

Pok?mon crossover with? I don't think giving pokemon homes and making them talk with dialouge will work. Pretty much because that I feel their better off in a pokemon game rather than a life simulation one. Pok?mon are meant to roam free and battle side-by-side with their trainers, not go build a home in a village and retire there for the rest of their lives.
That is just my opinion really.

Edit : Okay, just googled Nobunaga's ambition. A strategy game. Hm..

I'm glad I got to hear your opinion, that's why I started this thread I can kinda see where you're coming from, but I've seen pokemon spin-offs that srtay far away from their original concepts. Well yes. Pok?mon Trozei and Mystery dungeon are good spin off games, but don't you think that a game like that would make people question the originality of the game? I meam we have AC which is a good franchise, but I personally think some Nintendo fans would disagree. Another life simulation game from Nintendo? It is a very cute idea, and I like it. But it's just not right for me. I would like to See Lucario in a dress though *-*

My brother and I have been talking about how much we'd both love a Pokemon Crossing game. With all the Pokemon, though, picking just 10, and then the odds of getting them. Oh, goodness.

He'd also love to see a Grand Theft Crossing, which honestly, is potentially hilarious...

While I am excited for Charizard......I am more excited for Greninja!!!! I love all four Pok?mon they chose to be playable. Lucario is my favorite among them, the Greninja, then Charizard, then Pikachu. I love all 4. Hope Blaziken is added to!!!

I believe there was already a similar cross-over and I don't think it did well.
But since Animal Crossing and Pokemon has a very big fan base, there is a chance it could work.
Would I get it? Probably not.

There are over 600-700 Pok?mon. Imagine trying to please every Pok?mon fan who likes at least one of the 600-700 Pokemon.
Imagine how big of a game, and time consuming it will be for Nintedo.
