I wish there were more nature sound effects!

I mean for both in your house and outdoors. In Happy Home Designer you could choose from a bunch of background sounds in your home and one of them was a really pretty one with a breeze and birds chirping. There were also others like a heavy wind sound effect which would be awesome to use when it's stormy outside.

Also I think on the island it would be amazing to be able to turn off the music and turn on more nature noises. Seagulls on the beach would add so much to the island vibe!

What do you guys think? Would you want the option or do you think it would get annoying/you wouldn't use it?

I feel like the outdoors music is typical for Animal Crossing games, so that will never go away. I've seen quite a few people ask for the option to turn it off but the music is part of the game to me! (I still sometimes turn on a playlist with the music from the old games in the background while working and just remember the good times I had playing ^-^ so you'll probably grow fond of the music too!)

It is a bit loud sometimes though and the nature sounds a little too quiet. I do also wish some nature sounds were more present, and some were less present/loud, like the waterfalls! They are so loud imo and I don't like that so I don't have too many everywhere lol

I think more nature sounds for indoors would be awasome! Many of Saharah's wallpapers and floors have a background sound, I really like that! For example my bathroom doesn't have a music player, I just enjoy the rainy sound from my wallpaper, the running water sound from the shower head and the cypress bathtub and the wind blowing from the fan.

I've seen a post here on TBT from someone that made their house ASMR themed. They didn't play any music in the rooms, instead they used sounds from items and wallpapers/floors, it was really awesome! You can totally create natural sounds in your house, but you would have to use the items that make the sounds, like crickets! (don't think you can hear chirping birds indoors though, I agree that would be lovely!)

Oh wow, I didn't know wallpapers could make sounds, that's awesome! Still, it would be even more awesome if we could do without needing it on the wall!

And I agree on the waterfalls, it would be great to just have an option to change the volume of the various sounds. I can't imagine it would be that hard to code? The music though, I agree they'll probably never change it but I really think it would be nice to give the option to turn it off or turn it down. Some people really don't like some of the hours but have to listen to it on repeat or miss out on the rest of the sounds, and I've heard people saying they have sound sensitivities and 2pm actually aggravates them...

I didn't know the music bothered some people so much ): I guess adding the option to turn it off would be nice, but I don't think it will happen. I think they want us to play the game as if it would be real life, and you can't change the sounds that surround you outdoors either... but there also isn't background music playing wherever you go IRL either so yeah... I guess you can just play with the sound off completely, but then you might miss out on bugs/ballons/cute nature sounds

and yes, many walls make lovely sounds! but then the room does need that wallpaper lol. My personal fave is the misty garden wall (the one in my bathroom!) it's really pretty and you hear rain in the background ^^ the stormy-night wall is also great! I'm actually planning on experimenting a bit more with what sounds you can create indoors without the use of music c:

Yes please!! How do I enjoy the sound of nature with the music constantly playing??? I love the sound as I step or run around. I love the random cricket chirps. I really want more sounds to paint the setting. Tree branch shuffling as the wind blew. Waves crashed along the rocks.

The waterfalls are overly loud tho. If they toned it back a bit that would be great.
