You exchange friend code, and open your gates. Like with trading items and such. They have to visit you and talk to the villager who they can then ask to move into their town.

I usually don't care about using cheats, but the thing is, it makes it very unfair to those who cycle. Me included. Cycling can be a pretty grueling process, and it takes work and time. I mean, if you were giving out hacked (or whatever) villagers for free, maybe it'd be different, but you're charging people for them.
Plus, aren't there usually certain issues that come with hacked/illegitimate villagers?​

my feelings exactly. it puts the hard working cyclers out of business that get their villagers through legit means. i have a powersave and have molly, merengue and phoebe saved in boxes. i feel it would be wrong and underhanded of me to sell them continuously for TBT and make infinite cash here. maybe mods should take a look into this.

edit: i figured it was against the rules. it definitely sounded like an exploit.

There's no rule saying you can't generate villagers, and while it is still a service, I do still see the exploitation being a problem, regardless of your trustworthiness or not.

You should just cycle like everyone else.

I agree with you, people who actually work for TBT kinda get smacked in the face with this. And at the risk of further derailing this thread: Adopting a hacked villager doesn't really have anything to do with your game, the only issue is with hacking general. Hacking in things to your game can increase the chance of the file corrupting, but getting something from a hacked game usually doesn't have any negative effect on your game.

I have corrupted my save many times but I have an easy fix for it...
Alright no more TBT sales including this one, all purchases will be made IGB and also for cheap roughly 50,000!

an exploit is an exploit. it's best to just close this thread entirely before a mod steps in. selling a hacked villager for in-game profit or site profit is wrong.

I say just give them away for free. I've seen threads like this get closed before though due to the fact that you're getting the villagers through illegitimate means, so... be careful, I guess?

It does put the cyclers out of business. And the unfortunate thing is that there are always going to be people desperate enough to keep hackers in business. No judgement! I understand wanting a dreamy. It's just a bit of a bummer for the cyclers working their butts off here.
