I play everyday, only have about 500,000 with the 370k debt to pay off (I only have the second floor), not much furniture, no lighthouse/windmill, do not have a perfect town and I got the game on release.

nah, you're not behind... the awesome thing about animal crossing is that its not a race. just play, have fun, and if you're enjoying yourself that's all that matters. i had 1M in my bank, but i kept the second upgrade for my house because i wanted to buy turnips with it because if i upgraded my house, i didn't have enough stuff to even put in it. if you want a lot of money to just feel accomplished, try buying 500,000 bells worth of turnips one week and wait until either you or someone on the forum has 300+ turnip prices. you'll be set.

you have an awesome town! my town still has the comment "I'd give it a D+, C- on a good day" so I have been working my butt off for the past week and a half trying getting the rating up by buying and planting trees and flowers. You have to post pictures of your town! It would make a good guideline for me to follow

alright so since i've been talking on these forums i feel kinda noobish cuz i see that all these people have like 30 million in their bank =\
it's ok if you think this is stupid, i just kinda wanna know if you think i'm like way behind cuz if i am i really don't feel like playing anymore.

i've been playing since the release date(not everyday though)
i have all debt paid off of my house, that means i have the flag too.
i have a bridge, fountain, and lighthouse.
i have had all of this for about a month.

i have a little over 10,000 pts the point system thing.

i have a green feather and a little over 500k in my bank.

i haven't time traveled for more than 2 weeks.

i'm on my 8th day for a perfect town..

...and that's about it. Soo, what do you think?

People have so much money because of turnips. I got over 2.5 mil from turnips in around 30 minutes, and earned a total of 3.2 million bells. But then I gave two million away, and those people blew the money, also I deleted my town.
