I wish we could get a shed or barn or something on our main character. Lol

I dont want to make a second profile, but I want more design space... especially since you cant put rugs outside (why tf not, Nintendo?!?) or hang wall mounted items on cliff sides (i wish so badly~)
I dont want to set a second profile on my switch. Then go through making them a resident. Don't want to then with transferring all the items I want over to the character, and obv bells to upgrade. All my recipe stuff will be on my main account, so again, annoying...

Nintendo. Please. Give us she sheds.
Let me buy a small plot of land.
Same size exterior and interior as a villager home.
I beg you.

You used to be able to place rugs outside in Happy Home Designer, so I'm not sure why they decided to take that feature away in this game. Maybe it's because, like pattern tiles, there would be no way to rotate them once placed outside. Perhaps they could add an upgrade to the Island Designer app through an update to unlock the same quick item placement options as indoors.

Other than that, you'd think that they would at least let you hang stuff from panels (the simple panel even has a customization option that turns it into a perforated board), yet you can't use them for that at all.

I agree with this so much.
I do wish outside I could place an item in the dead center of a 4x4 table, but sadly that isnt possible.
I guess that makes sense with the rugs. Though if you dont go into the home designer mode you can really rotate the rugs either. Which, personally, I do find annoying.
