I tried paths on my island but they didn't fit my aesthetic

So yesterday I spent an hur or two on paths and when I was done they looked..unatural and unappealing. I don't if it's just my island layout or my path options but they looked wonky. I feel like they would mess up my natural aesthetic i'm looking for but I would need them o get 5 stars. Any advice?
