I think I’m obsessed with this game.

Hi Guys, Good morning. As soon as the release date for ACNH was released I pre ordered it and needless to say during the recent events it’s been a godsend. I was and still am furloughed from work and this game has kept me calm, sane and entertained, not only that it has prevented many an argument as to who has Control over the tv remote control. What would have been nice is if you could have had more than one game running on the same console, but unfortunately this isn’t the case. However I have managed to acquire another console and hey ho game 2 is currently in progress, only this time despite living in the UK and being in the Northern Hemisphere I opted for the Southern Hemisphere and it’s game on. Is there anyone else out there like me who have 2 games on the go. PS it’s also a bit weird on one game it’s summer with glorious hot weather and the other is freezing.

Yeah this game is addictive! I wish I could have a second island, and I might if my husband lets me take over his abandoned island lol.

Smart idea going different hemispheres on each console!!

Yeah it certainly can get addictive. I was super into it when I was trading for all these different cool items I wanted. Now I don't play near as much but I have fun chatting on here.

This game has certainly been addictive! When I transferred to work from home it was a godsend in April-June. I find that I'm trading and playing much less in the last few weeks but I still play for a little while everyday. I like that they keep adding new features that make the game exciting again!

I so wish I had a second island in the southern hemisphere to get some of the fall/winter stuff but I know it's not too far away if I just keep waiting! :)

Yeah, it is to me. I'm over 700 hours in and am still finding things to do. I mean a majority of it is now just online trading nowadays, but I'm still enjoying it.

As someone who is in the process of getting a second switch mostly to have another island, I totally agree with ya! I’m so excited to have a SH island (our first island was a birthday gift for my parents so they went with NH).

I've played a lot of this animal crossing game and ones in the past. I've been playing less most days and trying to play another game instead of just acnh all the time, but I also have over 1,000 hours in the game.
I don't plan on getting a second island anytime soon. I think it'd be cool to have a southern hemisphere island to go along with my northern hemisphere island. Although, I wouldn't get a second island for that until I've experienced all the seasons on my northern hemisphere island. I really look forward to seeing my island in Autumn and Winter!

Also, I would have absolutely no clue what to name a second island.

We are a two-system family, one in the Northern and one in the Southern, and it definitely is a plus. Just wish I in the North could catch a dung beetle at my daughter's in the South.

I don't feel addicted to the game, but then again I kinda am.

ACNH is the reason I bought a switch (yes I got the pre-order limited edition one and I'm in love!) and I did buy 2 other games besides animal crossing, but I never play them. I'm not as many hours in as I thought I was though (around 550 right now) I did play A LOT the first 2 months, but now because real life had been busier again I don't play as often anymore, or I just enjoy doing other things (often still AC related though)

I have been so thankful for the game. the release date couldn't have been better, and it has really given my days at home more fun and purpose. I made some online friends along the way, and finding a community here on TBT forum has been sm fun. I wish I used the forum during the New Leaf days! I've been playing since let's go to the city in the Wii (played wild world too on DS but I was young and don't remember it very well, I mostly played pokémon back then lol) so I've been an animal crossing fan for years, and now I have a community to share that love with ^-^

but yeah, maybe I'm a little addicted, as I really try to play daily and make my island the best it can be.
I'm always sad when my day is so filled with things to do that I don't have time to play my game haha!

My youtube has a playlist where I save animal crossing tour videos to watch later. My pinterest has hundreds of animal crossing images saved and so does my computer. Just a lot of creator codes and pics to help inspire me.

So yeah, probably safe to say I'm a bit obsessed! 😅

I'm sad because I spent a lot of time with this island when I couldve been working in the garden cause I used to be afraid if time traveling so it was mostly during the cherry blossom and egg hunt days but that put me behind a lot with gardening sometimes too far too gone but hey it is what it is... the worse part is that now I know about northern rock peninsulas and dock length so now I want to reset which mean all that time was just wasted

The game is pretty addictive, but I’ve taken a small break as of late. Gonna be getting back into it as soon as I have enough energy to get up and charge my switch 😂

ac is easily addictive q___q i so far have around 1.1k hrs on nh but i don’t think that’s something supposed to be bragged about considering that’s how much time i’ve been laying around these past months ^^’ i have taken a break from it because of IRL classes but i always find myself on it late at night ;v;

I mean, it's an Animal Crossing game... so I KNEW I'd be obsessed. I remember, like a month before it was released, I thought "Man, I wouldn't mind school being out for a while when it's released so I can play it nonstop..." (I'm a tutor, not a student)
...So, IDK, this whole lockdown could be my fault 😅

But, in all seriousness, it IS extra helpful during this time. I'm doing okay since I'm an introvert, but there are still times when I get anxious, and NOTHING is a better distraction than some good old island construction! I'm so close to being done with my haunted house area and I can't wait to enjoy it... AND show it off
I'm also low-key hoping they release a new kind of Switch lite so I have an excuse to replace mine and have two islands~ I have a regular Switch, too, but the main reason I got a Lite was because my Switch doesn't recognize the joy-cons when they're attached... and I only play it in handheld mode. So... yah. Of course, even though I mentioned I only played in handheld mode, can you guess the advice I got when I posted about the problem? GET A PRO CONTROLLER...
...seriously, are those people paid for recommending them?
But I digress 😂

Shout out to a fellow Lancashire girl!
This has also helped me a lot when I was furloughed, which was from March until last week. And this game did so much good for my mental health. It couldn't have come out at a better time. I love it so much and bring on the August update!

I don’t have the money to be able to get another console and/or game; the only reason I was able to get a switch lite and acnh was because it was my birthday (may) and my mom combined my birthday present with my arrival day present and also because the switch lite was cheaper than the switch (it was going for over $600 on amazon) arrival day is day i arrived in the us as a baby since I was adopted. Even if I had the money to get another switch and game, I wouldn’t be able to manage two games at the same time because of my anxiety. I get easily overwhelmed. I will say that I am addicted to the game though :P.
