I think I made my friend mad over a Pokemon Battle.

One of my IRL friends got pokemon x and I battled him and OHKO'd everything, and he got really mad and wouldn't trade with me haha. Earlier this week he also caught a shiny Pikachu not knowing it was shiny and traded it to our other friend. But my competitive team like destroyed him and he might hate me now.

What was his team? If he's using like 6 Charizard IMO he kinda deserves it.

If he was using any of those overrated things, he deserves it. Seriously, I've watched my boyfriend battling random strangers for hours and at some point I could almost predict his opponents' teams. Boring as hell.

If he really hates you now, kick his butt again for being stupid. <3

On another note, my boyfriend made me fight him (I'm not really into competitive battling, but whatever) and somehow my Aegislash survived his Talonflame's Fire Blast. He wasn't too happy about that. :p

this is why i don't battle people from school. they don't know anything about competitive so theres no point in battling them seriously

I recently destroyed this kid I know with my single Medicham. (it is the one I bred 6IV shiny though haha.) He used a Mega Evolved Garchomp, Togekiss, and, get this, a Porygon. Not 2, not Z, an unevolved Porygon. We consider him the worst Pokemon player in our school. One time he used Darkrai and won a battle simply by spamming Dark Void.
Not cool.

I've been there. Battled a guy I was camping with because his team was EV-trained and he was just bragging. I was all "eh sure" about it. Whooped his team several times. He was starting to get mad until I let him win. >_> (not that I'm good or anything, he just sucked at guessing types)

My friend did that too. We battled each other and she yelled at me because I had "better team composition" than her which made it "unfair"... If she knew she had bad team composition she shouldn't have battled me. :I She ended up making me feel pretty bad afterwards too.

"Thanks for reminding me how much I suck at this game, Krissi!"

Sigh.

He used a squirtle, pidgeot, raichu, charizard X, Xerneas, and something else I don't even remember that I OHKO'd and he's like, "WHY ARE THEY DYING" and I'm like "TYPE ADVANTAGES"

I mean I understand he's 18 and has a job but you'd think that one could tell that water isn't going to do anything against electric.

I've had a bunch of situations like this. One guy at a summer camp battled me with B/W, I swept his team twice actually. For the first one, afterwards he basically whined about losing to a girl lol. The second time was him challenged me randomly a few months later when X/Y came out. And he used legendaries this time and I still swept him, except this time with IV breeded and EV trained Pokemon. He used Pokemon with horrid move sets and basically didn't account for Pokemon's weaknesses. For the first battle I fought with him, I swept his team with a Garchomp. In the second battle, he uses a Garchomp and put Surf on it xP.

Your Aegislash survived because it's an Aegislash, and the Talonflame is running fire blast for some reason.

Shiny Pikachu are priceless. *~*

They should be more upset about their stupidity, haha. They'll get over it. :)

Sounds like you hurt his pride-- a lot of people are like that. He'll grow up one day and think to himself, "Why ...did I act like that? That's so dumb." The again I've known some people in their late 20's who still cry and moan about losing in a video game and get upset at at the other people who are better than they are. People don't own up to their own mistakes often times and continue to fail as history repeats itself once again.

I don't really associate with people who are too childish to accept their own flaws.

C'est la vie

I'm not a mean guy and all but if you want to make your friend more angry, say this. XD

I put a LOT of effort into my team (toho team FTW - go go Godzilla!) but I don't randomly challenge people on the global link. However, when someone wants to battle me I do it.

Long story short, I creamed some kid in Brazil who had the world's cheapest team: Darkrai, Rayquayza, Deoxis-S, basically all the legendary ubers from Smogon, and I still kicked his arse. He then opened a trade and showed me a pokemon he'd named "EffYou". Class act.

So don't feel bad, hun. Some people are just sore losers and outright jerks.

So....Aegislash is awesome even with a crappy trainer like me. I wasn't even using her properly since I don't know **** about strategies beyond type advantages. xD

I always do the unexpected. People are like, "Oh, he's gonna send out his level 100 Ampharos, let me send out my Ground type!" And then I'm like, "Lels let me just send out my weakest pokemon lels"

I would argue that Aegislash is pretty difficult to use as he requires good prediction and game sense.

People who get extremely upset to the point of hating somebody only because they got swept in a game that they know nothing about are pathetic 8D End of story
