I wanted to restart my town over the weekend, and to help me find an ideal map, I went and visted the map thread when the game first came out. I found on that I liked the layout of, and so I set off to find it.

About 10 minutes ago, I did.

Meet my new town of Kobayasi.

While I don't really find the Re-Tail location that useful, the place where you put your house is perfect!
 
House placement is cute, but overall I'm such a ***** about maps it's not even funny lol
Retail has to be right near the tracks for me or it's a no-go, and the river must be straight and centered :') I'm too picky orz
 
I don't really mind where Re-Tail is at, since I only use it so often. I never have people come over for turnips or even fruit on premium so, not much of a problem for me.
 
I think you picked a super map! Then again, I don't think there are any bad maps, just people with specific tastes. I love where your house is. That'll sound amazing with no music and just the sound of ocean waves. My only qualm is the pond right below the train station. It's a funny quirk, but something you might be able to make into a water feature. c:
