As far as I know, no one here said anything along the lines of, "What, I don't understand what you just said."

Yeah, it helps because we clearly know that he is so stubborn that he won't listen to a simple, "Hey man, do you mind fixing up your spelling and punctuation? Some of us can't understand what you're saying" so you feel the urge to "translate" what he said.
