I think I finally got as close to a good map as I can get

I posted another map that I had settled on earlier but that map didn't really scream at me. This map screamed at me when I saw it.




Especially that strip of land on the bottom right. That would be a great place for a lighthouse.

I think this is it guys. I HOPE this is it because I've had enough of Rover.

I also have Erik and Winnie in my town!!!! I love them!!!

I do have square grass but whatever, I'm going to have so many trees and paths it won't even matter what shape the grass is.


Now please demand I not restart again.

I love it! The lighthouse is a great idea and I personally like the little section of land in the bottom left corner with the dock.

I hope you don't mind me suggesting a spot but what about either near the river in the little section with the dock or by the pond upper right?

I can't do four ponds. that would drive me crazy. That's one of the reasons why I couldn't just pick a map, almost every map I came across had 3 or 4 ponds in spots where I didn't want them. I can work with 2 ponds, 3 even but they have to be in spots where they aren't in the way.

I'm so glad you've finally found a map that you like! It can be really difficult because this is the canvas upon which your entire town is built. It's great that you've already got so many ideas, and there's nothing better than starting out with villagers that you like. I hope you enjoy building your town. Sometimes things don't always work out exactly the way you want, but the end product usually ends up being better than you imagined!

If I was you I'd go rouge and build my house at the waaaay bottom on the right. I always love living near a cliff with a good view, that also means I know no one will ever move right in front of my house (It's happened to my friend twice already )

I have so many ideas in my head about what I want to do with my town: camp site, forest area, parks, fruit orchard. So many ideas.

I also have an immovable rock near the town hall. I'm not sure what to do with it.
Perhaps you can put PWPs and flowers near the rocks to make it look like a garden-like scenery?

Yeah, there are at least one immovable rock in front of the train station, Re Tail, town hall and near the plaza
