... playing Ocarina of Time. I had started a playthrough about a year ago for the hell of it, but got stuck in the Water Temple and gave up, pretty much until just now. Once I got back in there, I just looked at the map and though, "Oh, well that's how, then." At any rate, I finished the Water Temple, and got up to the adult portion of the Spirit Temple... then realized it was nearly six o'clock. This game is the best ever.

Sheik's theme is also the best.

As we said last night, the Water Temple is an *censored.1.3*. By far the most hated of the temples.
Nice to know you beat it.

The Water Temple is time consuming at best, you gotta look everywhere at different water levels, which is always a chore, although, I have to say, I enjoy the Water Temple pretty well. Oddly enough, the thing I have the most trouble with in that temple is Dark Link.

It was so easy once I thought about it... the jerks had hidden one of those Song of Time blocks behind the Longshot. The Shadow Temple was so easy it was almost boring, though.

I think I want to get the Biggoron's Sword if I can, all from memory.

I remember doing that. Like getting the one that breaks and being so pissed.

Speaking of replaying Zelda games, I got Majora's Mask off of the VC since my actual cart's battery decided to kick the bucket... what a great, atmospheric game.

Really, is it worth it?

A few people have told me it's too old and can't compete with Spirit Tracks etc.

I haven't played Spirit Tracks, but that sounds like BS to me. Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda game... I doubt that a handheld -- and if it's anything like Phantom Hourglass, watered-down -- Zelda is better.

Better than Phantom Hourglass? That game was terrible... and I never liked the Wind Waker art style anyway.

Whoops, don't mean to derail the thread. OoT is also great, I will have to replay that one after Majora's Mask...

I like it better than Phantom Hourglass. It's lasted longer. PH took like a day and a half to beat, I'm still working on Tracks.

OoT's amazing, but the Water Temple was nothing but pain for me. Constantly getting lost trying to mess with the water levels and such. I was so happy when I finally beat it.

OLD? OLD!?
What, whoever told you that shouldn't even call themselves a gamer.
