I was originally planning to rent Conduit to try that out, but for some reason blockbuster didn't have it so I rented Pikmin wii, for 9 dollars which I think is a rip off since you can BUY the game for just a few more bucks.
Anyways, it's pretty fun, the only problem I have with it is how depressing it is, I find myself rushing to gather up every last one of my pikmin before the day ends so I don't leave any behind, and then most of them die in battle, i'm having trouble though because I couldn't figure out what to do for 8 in game days, then I figured out Yellow Pikmin could use bomb rocks... ._. so now i'm trying my best to get at least 1-2 ship parts every in game day so I can get caught up with the days and such, so far I have 20 ship parts and im on day 22 I think. Not only that i'm running low on yellow and blue pikmin, i'm enjoying it though, been a while since I played a challenging game.

I recommend Pikmin wii if you don't have it for gamecube, or need your pikmin craze until Pikmin 3 comes out.

I'm excited about Pikmin 3, it should have alot of improvement over the previous ones and alot of new things like new pikmin types. Not to mention the graphics update and hopefully Pikmin won't get stuck or fall in water while trying to traverse a narrow path.

Alright well I just beat it and got the happy ending (100%), i've been playing since earlier today picking up at the naval, i've been playing almost nonstop and it's 4 in the morning. God I love games that keep me up late.

The reason I prefer Pikmin 1 to Pikmin 2 is because of the day limit, it makes it more of a challenge making it also more enjoyable.
I can't wait for Pikmin 3 though.

I have a tactic So that My Pikmin wont die.
On the Small Monsters I attack them with Olimar and then go behind them and keep circling around them attacking them untill they are dead. If you get damaged go back to your Ship.

PFFFTTT. Pikmin 2 is better.
I like the atmosphere of Pikmin 1 better, the whole "get the parts to your ship or your gonna die".
Pikmin 2 is just "collect cans and bottle caps to pay off your debt to tom nook"

after this, you should try pikmin 2,
It is way more longer then part 1 and there are more parts to collect and more levels(like caves)

I found it more funner cuase of the challenging caves and more Pikmin variety
